An eSIM lets a compatible device use a mobile service profile without inserting a separate physical SIM for that profile. The profile and the travel plan are different things: the plan's terms determine the destination, allowance, and validity being purchased.

From a plan to a trip cost

This site compares the qualifying purchase for a scenario with a stated duration and data requirement. A low advertised starting price is insufficient if the purchase does not cover both. Compatibility and activation instructions still need separate confirmation; a price record cannot establish that a device is ready to use the service.

The seven-day freshness rule applies to prices used in the site's comparisons. Figures are machine-extracted and not individually reviewed, so a collection date does not guarantee accuracy or the checkout amount. An unlimited plan carries a fair-use ceiling where the provider publishes one. An unverified threshold is not evidence of unrestricted speed. The methodology explains the model, which reports costs without recommending a plan.
